HL-WP has won a Good Design Award

We are pleased and proud to announce that our HL-WP has won a Good Design Award.

The Good Design Award is intended to encourage manufacturers to make excellent use of
"good design" to open up and expand new areas of business. It is Japan's only comprehensive design and evaluation system with a distinguished history dating back to 1957, when its forerunner was set up by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. At the time of its introduction design was not highly regarded in Japan, and the purpose of the original award was to develop industry and design (and thereby enrich everyday life) in Japan. Consumers are also recognizing the "G-Mark" symbol that is placed on products to indicate that it is a Good Design Award recipient.

The award winners have to fulfill various criteria. For example:

1.Is it a good design? (Does it meet the needs of customers? Is it aesthetically superior?
Is it safe to use? Is it user-friendly? etc.)
2.Is it a superior design? (Is the concept/process or management of the design superior? etc.)

3.Is it a design that breaks new ground for the future?
(Will it lead to a global standard for the next generation? etc.)
