In recent months, our business in Russia has been growing rapidly, due largely to the support of our agents in Russian, AGABB. In fact, they have been so successful that they have set up a branch office in the city of Rostov-on-Don. This city is the capital of the Rostov region, and is located in the Northern Caucasus part of Russia on the River Don near the Sea of Azov. Its nickname is "Gateway to the Caucasus" and as you can imagine, it is an important shipping and trading route. In recent years, its economic growth has been considerable. As a bustling business center, it is an excellent location for a branch office from which to push A&D's products. We would now like to bring you a recent success story from AGABB's Rostov-on-Don office.

One of their sales outlets is a drugstore called "The World of Health" managed by Elena Igolkina. Among our products, they handle our electronic precision scales.

One day, a regular customer asked them if they had any scales which he could use to monitor his weight. He was a middle-aged man, who suffered from excess weight and wished to slim down. Finding suitable personal scales was a big problem for this man. His weight was rather large, and for a long time he had had no chance to measure his weight precisely. He could not find scales to suit his needs.

He had heard about A&D and our precision electronic scales, and learned that The World of Health stocked it. However, the problem was that our UC-321 (which was stored at AGABB's warehouse) had a weighing capacity of 150kg, and this customer estimated his weight to be around 165kg!

Despite this, the man was offered the UC-321, and impressed by its stylish and modern looks and precise measurement (in increments of only 50g), he decided to take the plunge and buy it anyway.

The sequel to this story occurs three weeks later, when Elena Igolkina, barely able to contain her delight, informs me that the client had returned to her drugstore and with deep satisfaction had declared that his weight had already dropped to 148kg. Inspired by our scales and wishing to get his weight down to under 150 kg so that he could start measuring his weight accurately, our A&D scales provided the motivation for an almost miraculous weight loss!

Our Russian partner, AGABB, has set a branch office in this city by considering importance of the area. Since then they are serving for sales, education and customer satisfaction in receiving phone call from them. This story was brought among service calls to them.
