A&D is proud to introduce the latest addition to our line of medical products:
the UC-321PBT, precision health scale and The UA-767PBT, upper arm blood pressure monitor.

Those new additions are equipped with wireless data transmission capability using Bluetooth Technology.These units transmit data (blood pressure or weight) automatically after each measurement and a receiver can receive the data remotely without toggling wires in between the device and a receiver.This promises extended support of various healthcare services for patients in remote locations, since the wireless transmission means the end of distance limitations caused by length of wire needed for connection.

A&D has been a leading company in the telemedicine field since we introduced our UA-767PC upper arm blood pressure monitor, our first product for tele-monitoring of vital signs, in 1999. By adding the function of monitoring another vital sign, body weight, with our UC-321P, more precise monitoring of a patient's condition from a remote location has become possible among telemedicine healthcare providers. Among the benefits of telemedical care, patients no longer have to visit a hospital or clinic far away just to let physicians know their blood pressure or weight level, nor do nurses have to visit their patients so frequently. A&D's aim in developing its line of telemedicine sensors is to lighten the burden on patients and reduce the workload of hospital personnel as well as to cut healthcare costs.
