The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair was held this year for the first time at the Challenger Hall, a state-of-the-art 80,000 square meter exhibition center located in Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of the world's most popular jewelry shows and attracts over 30,000 visitors each year.

Our agent DKSH was present and had prepared a large booth, which allowed us to display a wide range of A&D balances. Our new FX-i precision balance series attracted a lot of interest and DKSH officially launched these new models onto the market at this exhibition. We prepared samples of each available FX-i model and they were the star attraction. Many visitors to our booth commented on their compact size and clear VFD display.

DKSH had prepared a new sales promotional leaflet, which we could offer to customers and our new FX-i is due to be advertised in an upcoming issue of the well-known monthly journal "International Labmate." DKSH kindly prepared a large poster size version of our FX-i advertising material and it also helped to attract visitors to our booth.

We even sold a number of units during this exhibition, including 1 GR-200, 1 HR-200, 1 GX-400, 19 units of the HL-100, 13 units of the EK-i series and 8 units of the HJ-150.

In fact, one of the jewelry shops exhibiting at the fair bought our FX-200i just after the show opened on the first day to use it at their booth during this exhibition. They had seen our FX-i advertisement in the show guide and when they came to see the FX-i unit at our booth, they liked its compactness along with the easy-to-see VFD display.


We are anticipating future sales increases in the jewelry market in Thailand working in close cooperation with DKSH.
