China International Weighing Exhibition

One of the most important shows for weighing-related instruments is the ‘China International Weighing’ exhibition, which was held in Shanghai from 17th to 19th April 2007. This show changes its focus every alternate year; either to target foreign visitors who wish to import products from China to their own countries, or Chinese visitors looking for business within their domestic territory. When the purpose is the former, the show is always held in Shanghai, as the city is known to be by far the most cosmopolitan in the country.

international customers. However, it was still important for A&D to show off our presence in China, since we knew that most of our rivals would be attending this show. The main feature of ADHK’s booth this time round was the AD-4826, loss-in-weight type constant feedware, utilizing our model predictive control technology. |

As predicted, we received many foreign visitors, not to mention local competitors who were looking for some hints or know-how from A&D’s line-up. Many of them seemed naturally drawn to and impressed by the AD-4826. We were also delighted to see some of our most important agents from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Thank you all for your kind support and continued cooperation. |

As for the exhibition itself, the total number of local participants was quite remarkable. The majority of the more than 250 companies who had a booth at this show appeared to be Chinese, with some well known companies present as well as a large number of newcomers. I was told that this year’s exhibition was extremely busy with a much larger number of attendees than two years ago. It was of little surprise that their prices were extremely competitive, but what was surprising was that some of them have already entered into the field of analytical balances. |

Indeed, the rapid expansion of their business could potentially pose a great threat to ours. However, we intend to continue to expand and innovate our business, which is absolutely necessary due to competition in the market. We are constantly growing and advancing our technology, perhaps even at a faster pace than theirs. As long as we have your support, we will never disappoint you. Please keep watching A&D and its future development! |
